Sun,
sand and sea, a thousand 'Robinson Crusoe' islands,
massive lagoons with different depths and infinite shades
of blue and turquoise, dazzling underwater coral gardens;
a perfect natural combination for the ideal tropical
holiday destination. However there is more to the Maldives
than just that.
The Maldives is an archipelago of about 1190 islands
grouped into natural coral atolls.
One would expect the Indian Ocean, like any of the other
oceans of the world to have its share of storms, waves
and other phenomena related to large bodies of water.
